Since someone else is also doing this, I thought I'd make a topic about it, and maybe we can share notes. I've converted a large chunk of Gothic Realms to TLinx (my now-not-so-super-project). I'll try to put up pics tonight. I know at least one other person (Lotus) is working on GR.
So far, I've converted the following:
* Posts (2 way, 3 way, 4 way) - using the gray brick pattern
* 3" wall - plain (gray brick)
* 3" wall - Lit (skulls and torches wall)
* 3" wall - Unlit (skulls and torches wall)
* 3" wall - Entry arch
* 3" wall - All doors
* 6" wall - plain (gray brick)
* 6" wall - Lit (skulls and torches wall)
* 6" wall - Unlit (skulls and torches wall)
* 6" wall - Great Door (2x height)
* 6" wall - Cathedral Wall (2x height, skulls and torches wall, unlit)
Also, I snagged the old logo and it's gone at the top of all the files in the usual (for TLinx) spot.
So far, everything but the Great Door and Cathedral Wall should work with existing GSD files. (I don't have a cutter, so I can't verify.) The Great Door and Cathedral wall are slightly taller than LHDK's Great Door, so they can't use that.

My thoughts on floors. Frankly, the floor textures of the later sets are far superior to the older sets, and GR is no exception. I've made builds with LHDK floors and Sewers floors, and they look great. IMO, the only floor worth converting is the Black/White marble floor. And because it's naturally tiled, I think only 1" and 1.5" versions are needed (the "gridless" could use either).
Are there other good TLinx'able elements? The cryptwalls, somehow?
Also, if we put together a good version of this (the elements I've assembled are all 300 DPI, extremely clean and consistent), would WWG want to release it?
