Yay! Here's my first kitbash, a boarded door (this is extremely low quality). |

Here's the boarded door: and here's a portcullis I tried, the edging was very tricky to do as you can tell lol! |

For edging tricky bits like that, try using a brush-tip marker or calligrapher's pen. Bienfang sells a line of brush-tip watercolor pens available at hobby stores (like Michaels or Joann's), and that's what I use for edging paper minis, since it gives me a nice fine tip for getting inside corners. |

I'm going to be redoing the portcullis again as it hasn't turned out like i wanted it. |

Very nice. I really like the look of the boarded doors. Simple, but definitely adds to the atmosphere. And though I like the portcullis as well, I'm looking forward to seeing what your new version is going to look like. Thanks for posting. |

Matthew777, I'd love it if you could offiically submit your kitbashes. Please send them to bobmcooper@msn.com, with "kitbash" in the subject line. |

Nickydude, did you submitted your doors as a kitbash? We could really use these, especially the portcullis/dungeon door. |

You could always colour it in with a black felt-tip pen. |

Did you submit both portcullis? I think the first paired really well with the boarded doors. The new one is really nice, and would definitely have a place. But it is..."really nice", I liked the look of the first one as it gave it a nice aged feel. |
