While way beyond my current abilities, several of the Traveller designs are in my thoughts. I have about every deckplan I can find and my current build is a personal adaptation of the Sulieman-Class Scout/Courier, though a bit bigger in Traveller terms/stats at 200 dtons http://wwgallery.pcinfoman.com/displayi ... ?pos=-1537. With construction passing the 25% mark now (by volume, not pieces, I am too slow).
At 60,000 tons a cruiser of that size might take a bit of time to make, but I can see the Bright Light as a natural extension of the First Light sets. But with the need for about 100 of the First Light sets added together, it could get huge! At the listed 405m ship length, that's something over 22 feet in 30mm scale, WOWSERS, what a playing field !!
