Alright, here is the quick rundown: In my D&D campaign the party is dealing with a group that is doing what basically amounts to genetic manipulation. The facilities for them to do such things are scattered all over a forest (most underground, but some are things like bottom of a lake via a glass dome, a cage outside that is barely holding in flying creature(s), etc.). What I am wondering, it how to convey this via WWG products. Remember it is still fantasy based, so futuristic structures are out. They are using magical abilities to alter the creatures. Also, here is the first layout I will be using for an underground facility: |

That is what I am wondering. The above layout is Gothic. For above ground, I will be using Hinterland a decent chunk. I may even grab castle pieces from CWU to show ruined structures. VillageWorks and SiegeWorks are greats for props. As for Thoumonts, I built a Thoumont's already and actually kind of like the idea of stealing some of those textures, but that means bashing and that requires more time. I hadn't thought of it yet, so thank you....hopefully I can get some time to bash some stuff for this one. |

Don't get too excited. I have very little spare time and this will be a minimalist build. I appreciate the high hopes though As for the things from various sets, I am not too worried about the torture chambers too much, as I can use place holders (maybe even miniatures) and just verbalize descriptions if need be. Some things that I would like would be water tanks and cages. LD2062, Those props you listed will come in handy. I have a few of them already. So, any ideas for cages and tanks? |

Well C&K has a cell door. I kitbashed it into a door section for gothic. http://wormholegamer.com/photos/albums/ ... G_0308.jpg I'll be submitting it in a kitbash soon. As far as a tank, the only thing I can think of is to take one of the large crystals from atlantis or crystal caves and print it on transparency. With a figure inside it should seem like a magic containment field. Otherwise I think you'll have to kitbash something. |

That will help. I knew I saw someone kitbash something I could use for a cage. As for the water tanks. I may kitbash something like these: Any suggestions on where to get some better images for the kitbash? |

You could try looking at the various containers in first light retrofit. Try just swapping the tech corner braces with sections of fantasy textures. |

I'll second the suggestion to look into those first-light containers. Also, depending on where you put them, some of the wall and floor tiles as well as props from shadowcore prime may fit very well in this. Anyways, when I was reading the description, the first thing that sprang to mind was the starting dungeon from Baldur's Gate 2, Jon Irenicus' lab. If you're looking for some wall and floor tile ideas, I'd suggest checking that out, it could give you some ideas for certain rooms, or for some props. |

Shellendrak has some mad-science elements that wouldn't be entirely out of place in fantasy either. I'd strongly recommend giving it a going-over. |
