To me 4th edition seems a dumbing down and backtrack to 1st and 2nd edition AD&D, and the dark days when only they could make anything for AD&D.

Yeah I'm a bit behind the times, but I just picked up Thoumonts today along with Under the Viel. Still need WildWood Grove but my wallet is a bit empty for a few weeks now.

Any ways I digress. Textures are fantastic, and the instructions are really well done also. I can see Thoumonts being a great alchemy shop as well as kitbashed into an inn or a narrow two story house. I'm going to have fun with this one!

Bought this last week, printed it out over the weekend, and have completed the basic build (currently fleshing it out with props from Thoumonts and Shellendrak). A truely luvverly model, very generic and the kind of model we need many more of!!

However, there were a couple of things I had to 'fix'. The front/outside/upper storey wall piece should have a large tab to affix to the upper storey floor which is missing. An easy fix as long as you spot it before cutting. Also IIRC there are a few reverse score markers/arrows missing on some of the pieces (I forget which ones exactly, but I ended up double scoring some of the pieces).

But as I said, a luvverly model....... only thing now is that my young daughter saw me building it and wanted it as a dolls house

Wish I had the time to build another..... maybe later, since I need current hobby time for finishing off some Wormhole stuff, constructing some of Mel's kits, and also building the remaining scenery for a Savage Worlds demo..............
