I went to my Mordheim campaign yesterday, and one of the other players brought in some World Works terrain! He brought in a set of Skull Cove terrain that he wants to use for a side Mordheim campaign in Lustria. Scoring will be separate from the standard league and people will be limited to one warband each, and one game per night, but he will be running it himself.

This is the brother of the kid who got thrown out, apparently what got the problem player so twitchy all of a sudden is that his brother was preparing a campaign! And was actually working on it! Building terrain, painting up a warband. And he was doing this without telling anyone. I signed up for it, and was fulsome in my praise - he put a lot of work into this, and it shows. I did not offer to help him run it, I think that if he put this much work into it already then he really doesn't need help, and offering to do so would be somewhat insulting.

And sure enough, without his brother helping him he beat me the first game we played. (Lizard men are nasty!) He used my own tactics against me, and had blow gunners concentrate fire while his saurus moved in on my flank. Losing felt wonderful!

So, one to add for touting - run games with the stuff! If there is a gaming league in your area join, and bring terrain - it will be noticed.

Heh, well, one of the players took pictures with his cell phone (?!!), but I don't know if he can get them onto his computer, he was just planning to show them to his sister. (Who does not play, but likes the pretty miniatures. Then again she is about six years old, there is time yet to corrupt her. )

*EDIT* With 2 exceptions I am twice as old as any of the other players... I still have a decade on the two next oldest...

Sounds like a good idea to me too. Public displays are always good.
