He has paper models of stuff from "Aliens" and the Bonus page has some Tron, Planet of The Apes, and other stuff. They all look phenomenal and they are all available for download free. They are password protected, but (like the teevee show, whisper this) the password is.... the filename.

I haven't even looked at how to put this together once you print it all out, but I think I'll have time this summer to work on some of em.

Here's something to lighten the mood:

Lol, I was thinking of linking this sight, but thought better of it awhile ago. He makes some cools stuff, his upcoming ship (the landing craft from Aliens) is too have working landing gear and moving missile pods. Very cool. I especially like the full sized rifle with removable grenades and cocking action . The vehicles would make a great addition to any Sci-fi set. I had similiar issues with the language barrier, cool stuff though .

If you look at the page where he has the link to the particular RAR file, somewhere on the page he tells you what the password is. When I was checking his site out a few months ago, I finally figured out where the passwords were.

If I remember correctly, it's pretty easy to see once you realize that they're right there with the write up on the page.

I built the pulse rifle, I went to a print shop and had it printed on a 3400 dpi firey color laser! Very fiddley! Very fragile. the textures and colors are a bit cartoony for my tastes

His was one of the first paper modelling sites I stumbled on when I started getting into paper modelling a few years ago. I was very impressed, and needless to say, spoiled for high quality free paper models available online after that. As you all know the quality of commercial paper models from WWG is uniformly high and worth every cent, but out on the www, the quality of available free stuff varies ALOT. Jan Rukr does make pretty high quality stuff...especially for the price.

I've built the dropships, the EEV, the Galaxia, the APC and most of the LV426 stuff. It is very well made, if finicky in detail. The level of detail is nice and the instructions are great, but the scale of the LV426 stuff is teensy. Make sure you have tweezers and a steady hand.
