Well, folks. I'm back, and my sanity's mostly intact now.

For those of you who don't know, I went to a convention weekend-before-last on behalf of WorldWorks Games to run a dealer's booth and put in our first official appearance at a convention. It was great fun, and I let a LOT of people know about WorldWorks.

Wow, paint me jealous! Looks like you had a great time and did a good job of spreading the word! Hopefully, they'll be an upswing at the store so you guys can continue putting out quality sets!

Excellent! I've been nagging Denny about getting a con-presence for years now!

One thing that struck me as potentially useful in this type of setup: markers to indicate which set each section of terrain comes from! Could be built into the terrain (like a Mayhem billboard), but just a white tag would help to start with.

Also, some *flyers* for handout go a long way to attract interest. Especially if, say, half of the flyer was dedicated to a sample model you could build on the spot! Preferably something that's easy to build using scissors and scotch tape (or even - shudder - a pocket knife and some gum! ) You could even just put a model on the back of the flyer - just make sure the essential WWG contact info is clearly displayed on the outside of the model, once you put it together...

If you look at the last picture, showing the catalog station...there's a stack of fliers to the left of the monitor. A likewise stack was by the front door of the Con.

If you look at the middle-most section of the backdrop, at the poster posted there...that's one of the fliers.

Are those cars or car-like-vehicles I see in the 'secret' section on the left of the 5th picture down?? Damn my eyes are going funny from trying to figure out the hidden treasures..........
