I remember seeing a post before (can't find now) where someone stated that a particular set was 300dpi and another was 200dpi. Cab we get a list of which sets are what?

The only 300 dpi set I know of right offhand is the Encounter Pack, though I can't say that it's definately the only one.

I think Bob is right. All the sets I've messed with have been at 200 dpi.

If I remember correctly, the encounter set and Dlinx are 300dpi and everything else is 200dpi.

Almost all of the sets are designed at the full 300 dpi. The problem always revolves around setting a practical file size so many of them are converted down to 200 dpi. To be honest I can't recall off the top of my head which are sitting at the full 300. Just off the cuff; DungeonLinX, Encounters, Streets of Mayhem I believe all sit at 300 but I'm pretty sure there are more.

Another issue at play here is the level of resolution the average inkjet printer is capable of producing. While they have wildly high stated resolutions on photopaper that isn't the case when printing on cardstock. The nature of the material tends to make inks bleed and reduces the perceived resolution. So long story short, unless you are using a laser printer or printing to high gloss photopaper, 300 dpi will do you no good. Anything above 200 on cardstock is a waste of ink and you won't have a perceptual detail difference with higher resolutions. Some out there may tout the benefits of 300 like it's some big thing but unless you have the money to print it on the proper medium with the proper equipment there really is little if any visual benefit to the format (for the average cardstock modeler).
