Grrr, everything that I could do wrong on my current build I did.

The idea was simple - a larger version of a ruined mill that I had made before. It should have been no problem, right?
Wrong!

While building I:
Forgot to cut out the ruined sections of the second floor before gluing it in.
Forgot to edge that same floor,
Forgot to cut out two of the windows, and
Dribbled glue while putting the floor in.

I cut out catwalk on the second story backwards, so it does not line up with the door, so I had to put in a bridge to make it work. (That actually looks like it belongs there, but I am annoyed with me over it.)
Forgot to put in and cut out some windows on the first floor,
Ditto for the interior doors (again, fixable afterwards, but....)
Misplaced I have no idea how many parts, and
Forgot to edge the foamcore with paint beforehand.

It still looks okay, none of the mistakes were model threatening, but there were just so darned many!

Anyone else have a build where they just could not do anything right?

Yeah, I am having that problem with the three-story office building with the detailed interior. Every time I touch it something goes wrong (even if it is only the children with a request that is very important to them, generally followed by my grunting "Daddy is having a moment!") I am awaiting the courage to begin the interior details of the second floor, and then onto building the third floor, but darn I am scared to do it! I have completed many other prokjects since I began this one, butI cannot face it yet, and so my Rezolution board gathers dust awaiting the final few pieces of scenery.

My worse builds were done late at night ... I'm an insomniac at times. I worked hard on a couple of trucks and thought they went all right. The next day I saw they were all twisted and looked like wrecks. Upon further examination I saw how many folds were not exactly where they should have been. I couldn't see how far off I had scored them. They'd be a total waste except I am saving them for a junkyard of mistakes.

The annoying thing is that I did a better job of building while jazzed with a fever.

It is like I suddenly forgot how to build a model.
