Depressing, my friend does not seem all that interested in standees, he actually prefers using the chits.

I can understand not wanting to paint minis (sort of), and I can understand not wanting to buy random plastic minis (oh, trust me, this one I understand), but choosing flat cardboard chits over standees?

For wargaming, the minis, standees, terrain are all major components, and the background story behind it is usually fluff since it's non-essential. However, for RPGs I'd say it's the reverse, that the visual components are all fluff and the story behind things is the essential element.

For me though, non-essential written elements are fluff, minis, terrain, etc. are not

Ok, I can understand it if there is a partnership agreement and the pinnacle website gets to publish their version first (though I don't think it's ideal) but you should definitely make a news announcement on this site. It shouldn't rely on a customer to tell the rest of us about a release

Andorax, you do an amazing job with subtle sarcasm sometimes, but thanks for the "official announcement".

Might be a good idea in future to prepare the launch materials when submitting to Pinnacle for approval, that way as you as you hear back from them, you can upload the relavant bits and launch. I'm saying you as in WWG, not you personally. I know the site is very complicated from the back-end as Denny has mentioned before, but you can't focus on the problems

I really hope WWG figures out a way to duel release these products simultaneously while keeping things together... it seems very disjointed from the efforts so far, IMO.
