Hi, everyone. I need a little advice. I'm working on some Street Corner Boards based on Andorax's article from a while back. Instead of making the Hotel Imperious and the larger apartment blocks, I was thinking of making a large industrial complex or maybe a refinery. So I wanted to ask the community how well PCon fits with UM? Is PCon too futuristic? Has anyone used it for a modern setting? I would mainly use it for All Things Zombie and maybe for Street Violence.

I always mix in a bit of Platform Command when I use my Mayhem City. I don't have any actual platforms built (yet), but I use the tiles and props.

I play Gangs of Mega City one, and the platform command style gives it a nice slightly comic book/sci-fi look. I don't think that it's too sci-fi to be used in a modern setting though, but it would depend on which bits you actually used of course.

Ah, thanks very much. I was looking for a rail car kitbash last night. Even did a search in the kitbashing zone. It appears my websearch-fu is weak. That is perfect. I'll get that and Platform Command today.

I did notice that Platform Command is 1 inch scale, though. I've been using the 1.5 inch scale for all of my Mayhem builds. I'd hate to mix scales, however I see that the new Platform Battlegrounds comes in 1.5 inch. Maybe I'll just add it for the 1.5 when it comes out. Darn the bad luck. My list of must haves just gets bigger and bigger. Next up Shellendrak, Urban Grind and First Light, then maybe Himmelveil. Though I will probably get them all. Every time I see the Maiden I say I gotta get that, even though I'm not gaming that period at all.
