What I actually did was link to the site, then put your name in paranthesis. This way, all they have to do is search for your name and read your articles.

Sounds good. I have never gone that route before, but if you go to my profile (click on my name in a post or search for me and click on my name - Talae) then you can click on all blogposts by me and that gives you a list of all the articles by me.

That's what I essentially did. I linked the main site and then like sublinked to your profile's Posts by Talae link.
