Actually, Denny was caught stealing from a shopkeeper in Oblivion, and lost all of his stolen goods. In their zeal, the guards mistakenly confiscated the plans for Nightwatch as well. Horrors!

True enough. I wasn't sure if I was going to get it... but I did... now I just need to think of what I'm going to do with it

Lots of potential... though the ideas I've come up with so far bring to mind something key that I really wish the set had included... a conveyor belt. Oh well, I'll have to see if there is a way to kitbash one...

Now that its out, here are my thoughts:


First, just build a pair of platforms and a walkway. See them on your table. They're really cool looking. Your brain will suddenly sparkle with ideas as you look at just those three pieces. I put one of Ebbles' dropships on the square platform, and it looked awesome (I was reminded of Bespin). Stack your platforms - that looks really cool, too. We were channel surfing this morning and saw Chronicles of Riddick, and I thought about using the platforms in conjunction with Caveworks (for the prison) as well as First Light (the starship interior). Think of the Death Star; of portions of BSG, Babylon 5 and even Stargate.

This is a very good set on its own. But it may very well be the very best "combine it with another set" set WWG has released, ever. The potential when looking at it with other sets is really just incredible.



The only thing I think it could use (for my own purposes) are more and bigger platforms - and my first kitbash for this set will be to make a bigger platform. A BIG platform. I want one that fits a big Mars Station building - so perhaps as big as 9" x 9" or 10" x 10".
