The official update for Himmelveil is as follows (After a couple pints of beer, you get my loose lip mode)...

The Bad News: The designer I had slated for the first Himmelveil release is currently on vacation. While I did have him started on the project some time ago (down to detailed floor plans) his contract became caught up with his lawyers and I have yet to hear word on where things stand. He runs a graphic design business and unfortunately this project and WorldWorks in general is not currently a priority for him... Lesson learned.

The Good News: Having accepted where things currently stand I have shifted some of the Himmelveil weight over to Paul. We came up with a secondary "emergency" Himmelveil release strategy. Paul will be starting on the first release this April (after he closes his FirstLight expansion due out in the next two weeks) and we are hoping to get something out to you soon. If worse comes to worse I will put other projects on hold and jump into the Himmelveil fray to get things moving.

I know it's frustrating to wait but we are doing everything we can to get things moving. I truly hope that this is "WorldWorks year" so that I can hire on more dedicated talent like Paul to tackle these important projects.

It is good to see that things are moving...


I am really annoyed that some people just don't have a professional attitude, when it is their time to make good on their words. I wouldn't accept a project like Himmelveil, if I am unable to cope with it in time.

I'm just happy to know there's a backup plan in the wings! And, that it involves Paul, and possibly Denny! No matter what, we will see Himmelveil! Eventually...
