Anyone know if there's any free boardgame-ish rules that would work good with this set? I've never played Hero-Quest, but have heard it's good. I don't play any rpg's so wouldn't have any use for this set outside of something like a boardgame.

I was wondering the same thing...then I got to thinkingg...

What if WWG were able to release a rule-set specifically for use with the tiles? The rule-base would want to be generic enough so that if could be used for any genre. Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Cthulu.

Just an idea.

There are TONS of systems out there, many of which are free:

Two Hour Wargames also has Warrior Heroes which would work great. It wouldn't be much of a chore to play Heroquest, Advanced Heroquest, or Warhammer Quest with the tiles. As a matter of fact I don't think you'd need to change the rules at all.
I bet Heroscape would work ok too.
