Rudolph, the drop-in furnished rooms are a great solution for making "permanent" builds more modular. Plus, they won't get bumped around or fall over.

Always share those ideas! The ones that seem obvious are often the ones that are overlooked by everyone else. (Case in point: Denny himself didn't pre-edge until Robby (I think) mentioned it on the forum)

[edit] Oh, hey! Here's an idea to make the drop-in rooms part of the action: Have a drop-in section, complete with walls, for a prisoner holding room, or the captain's quarters. Then, right after the PCs leave the room, tell them they hear a loud explosion from that room. Remove the drop-in to reveal a post-explosion "battle-damaged" room, with scorch marks and disintegrated furnishings!
