Damn, the armoury itself looks pretty much what I imagined, but I'd never have expected a kitchen and a friggin garage as well!

Couple more questions for ya:

- What's that black object in the middle of the room in the second-to-last picture? And the things top right of that on the floor - are those just a selection of floor mats?

- There's a very white-looking border between floors and below the roofs. Is that blank cardboard showing, part of the stacking mechanism? Or is that just a "concrete floor slab" texture? (I'm hoping for the latter )

Thanks for all the kind words, folks, it really means alot. Just a quick response, the white areas between levels are just the foamboard, I had white-core on hand (as, I assume, do most other people) so I just went with it, although for future works I'll probably invest in some black-core.

Ok, I just have to say AWESOME work Matt... I appologize for questioning the texture quality earlier, it was in part because the colors in the photo were off and they didnt look deep enough...

As a side note, how can the set be use modularly? I know, your gonna answer my question later, I'm just impatient . Everything we have pictures of looks like it was built to be put together that way... Is there stairs up from the armory to the apartment? Or do we have to use 2d cutouts, like in the apartment picture?

You know, I think I'm gonna have to buy SOM and this, just to build a city! (I dont even plan on playing any modern games, but this is just SO awesome!)

EDIT: Now I have another question; is there an exterior exit in the apartment section, will it look right on the ground floor (as opposed to going out on the deck, for example), and is there a hallway included so you can actually have an apartment building, where the apartments dont open into each other? And, is there enough props or interior scenery to have more than a couple apartments without them becoming almost exactly alike?

The new photos are incredible. That's for sharing them with us. I'm really looking foward to this set and can't wait to get started.

I have to admit I'm a little scared at the thought of this being the first product released to your store first though. Is your store really that close to opening or does it mean we'll be waiting another month or more for this set?

Anyway, I'm going back to painting minis and printing more streets and overpasses. Practise makes perfect... or so they so.
