As much as I'd rather see Denny and crew producing sets and not worrying about the site being redone (2nd or 3rd since I started purchasing), I'd like a FAN SITE KIT. This is a downloadable ZIP file with graphics that people can use on their personal hobby site that the person can use for each set that they display.

Take comfort at least in knowing that everyone else is forging ahead with their model sets and adventures uninterrupted. It's basically Robby, Aubrey and myself bashing away at store specific issues. The changes we are making are really important and I don't plan on updating the look or functionality of the site for some time after this (we have too many projects going on that require all of my attention). We are taking great care in doing everything we can to get it right this time so that no more time is wasted on revising that end of the business. Maybe a tweak here and there over time but no more changes on this scale.

A fan website package is a great idea. I might be able to pull some elements together from the new site design. If I can't find the time I'll see if I can bend someone else's arm to do so.

Hmmm, one recurring theme on the topic made me want to mention this...

The option to have multiple choices available on any polls would be very handy, just about everyone who posted on the thread wanted to choose more than one set (not excepting myself, there were three that I would have checked right off...).

I know that some forum sites do include that possibility, though I do not know how difficult it is to impliment.

Just to add to the above comment (for anyone that cares) we've decided to let the content speak for itself and I think you'll get a much better impression of the products overall. Previous releases have a completely new pop of clarity under the new design which should help people get a better sense of what each set is all about. The design has been pulled waaaaaaay back into something that does not overwhelm the eyeballs yet still offers a pleasing and stylistic shot of eyecandy. I'm really hopeful that the changes we've made will make the entire WWG experience much easier to swallow.

On the controversial WIP (Work in Progress) meter we've decided to pull that element back as well. The new meter only shows the top 4 items under development in a much cleaner format. It's not that we don't have more than 4 projects on the go but we've taken some heat for extended delays on a few productions. Sometimes being too open in this regard isn't such a good thing as it has caused some frustration out there. To address this we are only posting updates for projects which do not have any extraneous roadblocks holding them back and are very close to release. As each of the top 4 are completed the next project with the highest likelihood of impending release will be posted.

Enough of my blabbing. It's almost there guys/gals just a few more tiny issues and we are off and running. I'm going to pull a bit of a Denny here but we could potentially be up in 24-48 hours. Then you can help us work out any bugs along the way and more importantly you can get your hands on some new product!

I do patiently await the unveling of the new site, but there is something obnoxiously 'fun' (if I may use that term) in making such a posting as I previously done...er...have.

I am quite sure that it will be worth the wait.

I would rather give you guys estimates that don't always pan out rather than keeping you totally in the dark. Sure, we take heat for it but for those times we do come through on deadline it's a thing of beauty.
