This is great news - bringing such great work to complement the WWG sets can only be good for us customers (especially us fantasy customers).
I hope your collaboration with Denny works out even better than you both expect.

So I least I can put all my photos of the Savage Star Wars ?? (half of them where made with the Orbital Set...the other half is what is in the galery with Worldworks First Light and MelEbles )

Hope that union bring more ideas and a lot of shiny things for us to buy !!

huhm that explains it then, it looks like there is a space for a sneak peek, and when i quoted it i see a link for an image... but i don't see one in the page... must be the stupid filters in my secruity software, it just did an automatic upgrade and is doing annoying things, like not keeping me logged into various sites and blocking some other images this must be another one...

I'll admit to owning the Stone Edges stuff for a long time. And the StarWars sets he's released.

I am totally looking forward to the Watchtower...

Question:

IS is that StoneEdges is going to release stuff through the WWG:Storefront?
I realize that StoneEdges is a separate entity, But will there be collaborative model sets? Stuff that would integrate with currently available kits? For example: Will the Watchtower come with PaperLynx connectivity. Or is it a separate product line, and would need "Bashed" to work with wWG sets?

During the early part of this partnership we're more focused on getting Eric up and selling on the official WWG storefront. His 'Watch Tower' release came on the edge of when we started talking so it's sort of a bridging product. It is important to note however that it is a pure 1-inch based model set and Eric tells me that it should plug onto CastleWorks Ultimate (Although I haven't had time to test that out just yet).

We are going to try our hardest to work together on a few projects in the New Year. Hopefully if Eric has time he'll put out a few WWG specific releases. It's still really early in the process though so you'll have to be patient with us.

I guess the big question, will Eric keep the Stone-Edges brand? Or will he be assimilated into the World Works world and the Stone-Edges be discarded. Or will all the work done by Eric be by "Stone-Edges" as the designer?

Personally (and I believe I stated this in another post) that a cobal of publishers running their own download store would be great, then the business would be run for the businesses by the businesses. But I don't think it would work out if the store were named after one of the businesses.

I'm hoping that this is the beginning of bringing more designers into the fold. But it would be bad at the cost of competition.

Just my Humble Opinion.

I'm still jazzed about Eric being included. Does this mean that having his stuff mixed with WWG stuff would be OK to post in the gallery?

Welcome Eric! My first foray into the cardstock terrain abyss was with your Orbital set, and I loved it. Made a terrific 3D Space Hulk set-up that just blew me (and my friends) away. I quickly acquired your dungeon products as well. I am delighted to see you here in any capacity!

I don't even need a tower, but I'm going to buy it anyway to support this new union

Now, about follow-up kits. How about an expansion to the Orbital set?

And Denny/Eric, does this mean that we can start doing kitbashes of existing Stones Edges products and submitting them? Or are past kits off-limits, and only new stuff can be bashed? Or no kitbashes for Stones Edges of any kid?

I wouldn't think it'll effect the SWminatures site too much as Eric isn't the only one working on the models there. Or at least from what I've seen. Hopefully he'll be able to keep active in both places.

Hey I understand that you may not offer kitbashes of Stone Edges but what about posting pictures of WWG to SE pieces? I have a few dungeon transition tiles that change from Chunky Dungeons to SE Dungeons.
