While I'm not a Mecha fan -- Mecha exceeds my personal "veracity" limit (to use The Auld Grump's term in a SiegeWorks post ) -- the other components intrigue me enough that I expect to buy it when its released. (Plus I can always use more sci-fi paper miniatures.) Looks like a great set!

I'm a fan of Mechs...regardless of their real impossibility... I grew up watching my soap opera--er Anime Robotech. Their real man...it can be done. Ask the Japanese!

The one Matt shows in his teaser looks like a cross between BattleTech and the old Transformers.

MeanBone, Denny is the guy that seems to "do" fantasy sets. On the other hand there is also DeathReaver999 whom is compiling a MegaBash set which is basically what you are looking for.

I'm not saying Matt doesn't have the skill for this but we want him for our Modern~ish sets.

Oh Matt - looking very nice. Glad this will have outer walls, how compatable will it be for Warehouses in the Mayhem line?

If you do have the P&I set you don't need to cut out for the stairs, just use the down the stairs tile.

With Villageworks you can both flip the walls to match for the interior and insert floorboards and props with the Interiors set (a real bargain, IMHO). It does take a little work to match the two together, but noting more than creating a set from scratch. I'd also recommend checking out the kitbashes for VW, as they really add to the flexibility of the VW set as a whole.

And Harbormaster could be a great centerpiece for a Mordheim game, as it is a complete building in itself (inside and out) with cool props and multiple layers.
