When you said heavy traffic, I noticed that a lot of visitors to my blog are hitting the links to the WWG site on a daily basis. Like at least 10 times a day.

My heart also went into my throat when I couldn't access the site. I was like, "Oh no, please, don't be gone. This is my favorite game accessory site!"

I'm sorry to say that I am still having a lot of trouble accessing the WWG site. At least 3 minutes to load every single page, and over five minutes to load this reply window and the store front page. Needless to say, I don't check into the forums very much any more and I'm worried about buying and downloading the Cathedral. Is it something wrong with the server caches?

I'm not having problems anywhere else. Just this site.

Everything is normal for me now. But a day or two after the site came up my access to the site was slow. But that may have been an issue with my internet connection.


Edit: And when I tried to post this message I got long delay, before clicking on my bookmark finally brought the boards back up.

I'm sorry there are continued problems.

We are looking at all kinds of things, though. I think one of the main culprits, interestingly enough, is mail. The mail through lunar pages is terribly, horribly, slow, and its killing everything. (Thats one reason forum pages take a long time to reload after saving - its probably sending alert emails to folks.)


There are definitely changes a-comin', but beyond that I'm not comfortable saying what yet. But I promise it will get better soon. (And sooner than the normal WWG soon. )
