Since we're talking hex grids, this might be a good time to bring up my recommendations on how to line up rectangular features on a hex grid. The main idea is to draw lines "in between" the hex grid lines, so you never get any 1/2 hexes, but either almost complete hexes, or small slivers of hexes that are unambiguously "not a hex".

That way, you never run into a situation where players have to ask "is that a valid hex to move into?"

A dot in the centre of the hex would be ideal (as long as it could be seen, but did not detract from the artwork), it encourages the ruling that if you can see the dot, the hex is playable, otherwise no go.

I think most problems could be avoided with careful placement of floating wall elements and the like; if your Masterboard is gridded with hexes then it's entirely up to how you place the wall elements as to how clear the hex pattern is to use in play.

Unfortunately we won't be hitting that mark. We do have a free sample coming your way though in anticipation of the larger release. It's a really cool model that I'm sure many of you will find useful

Sorry for the late reply. There's been alot of shuffling and rethinking going on behind the scenes. Paul had a sample ready to go but we both kind of picked it apart and decided to take it in another direction. This sample sets the tone for larger sets and it's important that we get it right. The results will be worth the wait
