Well, sounds like you *will* be happy in that case. Considering how much extra time Denny took out to provide full 1" compatibility, I'm pretty convinced the vast majority of these issues (stairs, doorways, walkways, wall lengths, etc.) has been dealt with.
By the way, in the thread, Denny did reassure us that the set has been built from the start to be as much 1" compatible as possible (I suggested things like making walls and rooms multiple of 3", and perhaps having some 1.25" or 1.75" features that would work fine with both scales).
There may still be the occasional 1.5" door which is not perfectly aligned to the 1" grid. But I don't think there will be anything that would force you to use a 1.5" grid.
