Well Grump at this point what can I say but the old cliché, “you can’t please everyone all of the time”. There will be hits and misses here at WorldWorks but I can tell you with some confidence that CastleWorks Ultimate will NOT be in the misses category.

Your concerns and disapproval have been noted for future reference and I will try my hardest to please you in future. Your opinion counts and I take everything said here to heart.

Now off I go on the home stretch to release. You’ll all understand why I overshot the release date when you see the final product (sorry for the delay).

I do think us 1" fan(atic)s are probably overly biased against the 1.5" scale because we have the Chunky Dungeons example in mind. That set was *very* 1.5", simply because it was so... well, chunky. Great textures, but pretty much *everything* came in multiples of 1.5".

With CWU, I would expect the "1.5-ness" of the set to be *much* less obvious, because it is a much more organic set of models to begin with.

Denny... just curious, did this issue come up during the review process? I know you have a few people who get to see pre-release versions. Would it make sense to expand this program so you get more advance notice? Maybe you could even have people who *pay* to see preview sets. After all, they do get a set out of it...

Well, I'm a role-player, wargamer, modeler, and whatever else you wanna throw in and I, personally have switched over entirely to the 1.5" scale. Why? Its just plain easier to use. Everything fits better. I don't care if the scale is off by 5%-10%. When they are that small, I could honestly care less. I'm a functionality person.

On a completely unrelated note, the amount of work Denny is willing to put into his products just to make EVERYONE happy is astounding and commendable. Thanks Denny!
