I agree with the old grump I love a complex model
(sure it takes me 10 times longer to build than the
average person but......) It is nice to see you add in
options to make the set more detailed if you want..
or be able to build it semi quick if you just want to get
playing. Great job as always.

Let's see. Sliding and twisting secret doorways and bookcases. A must for rpger's. A Vlad the Impaler dungeon playset with action twitching victims. A variety of shields and wall hangings good and evil motifs. And lets not forget a variety of items for an armoury.

The picks look pretty good. Can't wait to get my copy so I can start on it, don't know why I am in such a hurry though I still haven't even started on the Maiden or Siegeworks. Been checking the message boards alot to see what helpfull hints, tricks, and ideas have been posted. Trial and error are mans greatest learning tools it would seem.

Oh yeah I have a new batch of kittens so you have a month or so before they are ready to storm the Ultimate Castle Works gates.

BUMPS IN THE ROAD:
Well, working conditions are a bit awkward at the moment but everything is more or less back to normal (I’ll tell you about it in a journal entry).

GATEHOUSE CHAINS:
The chains on the gatehouse are indeed printed on transparencies and are plenty strong for the task. I will make a special note regarding the use of “jeweler’s chains” in the instructions. They would work great!

MODULARITY:
There are many options to take the walls and towers in certain directions visually. Unfortunately I’m holding on to some of those secrets until I’m closer to launch. There is much more to this set than meets the eye but as I’ve said before…these walls have eyes (and conflicting release schedules).
