The grid is nicely understated on the waters.

The BIG reveal on this one will follow after our core SOH1 & 2 releases. Shouldn't take too long to launch it after that though.

Incidentally, that is a very nice texture on the water.

Much clearer than any I have ever seen in a working canal, but then again the water in a real canal tends to be, ummm, very nasty. (The canals in Boston were much nicer than the ones in Warwick, though. I still would not want to swim in them, but at least they smell like water....)

Yeah, the original water I had was very murky. I was referencing Venice for a lot of it but the character of that water really changes a lot depending on where you are looking. The water ended up in a kind of middle ground. Murky but slightly transparent. I found a cool way to incorporate dynamic waves as well that interact with the terrain in interesting ways. In the end the water is an amalgam of about 7 layers of texture, each defining a different quality.

That's a lot of layers.

Worth it, though. It is not even out, and I already have plans for it.

Will there be a mapper such as the one that came out for Streets of Mayhem? Or does [Information Redacted By Order Department of Homeland Security] prevent such a marvel?
