Method? Just curl them. Grab a can of spray paint or a tube of caulking or any suitably cylindrical object and wrap the wall around it. It doesn't take a lot of pressure to curve them and they'll pretty much stay that way once you do. |

Thanks very much. I really should've thought of that. I shouldn't really be let near a computer until I've had my first cup of coffee, my brain isn't working until it's had a decent injection of caffeine. |

Bought and downloading now. Seems that I'll need to get a new toner bundle too... Oh, and if the "faceted anti-warp curved wall" is anything like the big round room seen in Ruined Undercrypts of Kelmarane, go for it!! |

http://www.losingrachel.com/Losing_Rach ... in.html#12 I did some experiments last night. If i were to glue the tip of the sword to the edge of the demon's base, then it eliminates any lateral wobble almost entirely, but makes the sword look a little awkward. I think my other option might be long black pins coming up through the base and into the body of the demon. The problem is that he's top-heavy, obviously, although I'm not sure how much difference that would make in play, since once he's on the table, he's so large it's unlikely he'd be doing much movement. He already has reach+2 according to D&D rules, given his size. |

Nice builds there. I like the streets inside the halls tiles. Very cool look. In the promos the demon is just glued to some tiles and stands great. If you don't want to glue him to tiles, how about gluing it to a transparency section? |

He's actually glued to a 3x3 foamcore base in my photo. The section of his feet with the redlined "tendons" is the part that's glued to his base. There's still a lot of side-to-side movement though. If you build one, you'll see what I mean. He *stands* fine, but if you have to pick him up to move him, he's very wobbly. |

Mounting it on a heavy base isn't going to fix the problem. All the weight of the model is concentrated in his body, which is mounted on two very thin legs that are positioned directly underneath the center of gravity. With his feet glued to his mount, when you pick him up, he SWAYS FROM SIDE TO SIDE. I don't know how to describe it better than that. It's like having a tennis ball mounted on a piece of stiff ribbon. No matter how securely you glue the ribbon to the base, the tennis ball is just too heavy to stabilize without using three points of attachment. |
