Upcoming product info: Please note that updates and teasers will be posted at the top of this thread when available (refresh often). Designer: Product Description: In a dark forest, hidden between the foliage stands a lone inn. Frequented by travelers, merchants and lonely souls. Once it was a grand establishment, but those days are long gone. Now it is host to all kinds of people who prefer to be unnoticed when they go about their questionable businesses. There will be props. Oh yes, there will be props! The Inn of the Feisty Friar will be a series of releases, each focussing on different parts of the Inn. First up is the main building of the Inn. There will be some props in there, but there will also be a separate props master "interior props" release alongside it. |

Will it be compatible with TCP? Not 'clippable' but in terms of texture and general style. This would solve the problem of building small rooms and corridors with TCP... |

I'm sure I'll find out more when the promo pics surface, but how closely does this product relate to the old ? Will this (and as you've mentioned, subsequent props packs) obsolete the old set? |

Oh very nice. This will blend in with Hinterland wonderfully. That has been the one issue with Thoumonts I have seen, it was a bit stark of a change from Hinterland. |

Ooooh, I *love* that door. You know, I realize I can create an inn with Thoumont's, but I'm really excited about the Feisty Friar because it sounds like its going to have LOADS of personality. I'm not knocking Thoumont's in any way, mind you...its an awesome set. But by its very nature it needs to be generic enough to be whatever we need it to be. But *this* set knows exactly what it is, and the teaser pics have definitely done their job...I can't wait to see more!

Are the green glass crown pane windows going to be transparencies? They look wonderful, and I would like to use them with other WWG walls. Those round panes are from around the iron or copper 'pontil rod' - a blob of molten glass was spun on the end of the rod to make a big disk - the central pane was thicker, and had a round depression called a 'pontil mark'. It was the cheapest piece of glass that a glassblower sold for making windows. Image of real crown glass. Pretty close!The Auld Grump |

Time for some more teasing? This is inside downstairs. And those of you who were asking for transparencies will immediately see why I originally wasn’t planning on including them. From the outside, the windows are green (because of the green walls). From the inside, the windows are blue (because of the sky) and might look a tad dirtier. I will include transparencies for the windows, but this is one of those instances where I found that texturing the windows actually looked better than doing it with transparencies. |
