. Hope the prop pack drops real soon after the Inn if they don't drop at the same time.

Got my copy now, but it Monday night and I have to work for the rest of the week. Well I should start planning my set up and get those props printed and cut. Looking forward to the weekend. Denny hope you and the family are well now! |

Got both Friar sets as soon as I got home from work. Beautiful set. Only question I have is which transparency to use for the first floor windows - green or blue? I suppose though that it would depend on whether you're intending to have the build more as a notable interior set or 'just another' building on the concourse that the players have to fight their way around... Course, since its TLX the wall can instantly be switched to the other color version if the action moves to the other side of the wall... or am I just thinking too much into this? [chuckle at self] My wishes added for your family's health as well... Take some rest to recharge those batteries - just not too much - we wants our Airship!

I'd like to give a BIG congrats to Tomas by the way for an awesome release! Tomas started with WWG by helping us do some key conversions to TerrainlinX. He masterfully manipulated graphic assets and basically fit a square peg into a round hole time and time again. When he started on the Friar, he was a bit nervous about his abilities but he soon proved to himself and to all of us that he has a real gift for creating terrain. He really poured his heart into this one and it shows. Really proud of you Tomas and I think the Friar is an amazing piece of art. It's full of character and mystery. I wish I could shrink myself down and pay it a visit for a few pints!

Tomas, Denny, this is an amazing set! I can't wait to build it. I've printed off some props today, but other more 'real world' work calls and I won't be able to build anything until the weekend. sadness. Denny, I hope you are all feeling better. Purchased! Looking forward to doing some builds for this, although from a wargaming standpoint I may build mine as permanent structures with removable stories to make them more durable. Really looking forward to doing a bunch of builds with these over the coming months! |

Wow, it looks like the very long post I wrote when this came out never made it up....  Boiled down it came to - Excellent! I was very happy to see the transparencies of the windows, and will likely be using them on other sets as well - I love crown glass panes. This is likely to become one of my two most used fantasy sets, along with Thoumont's - very flexible. Tomas did a fantastic job with these releases. Now I just need to ruin them.... (Mordheim needs these....) The Auld Grump |
