I dabble in Flash. I'd been meaning to fool around with a grid-snap technique in one of the tutorials but hadn't been able to maintain interest. Then, after seeing the floorplan layout by Andorax, I thought it would be cool to have an interactive mapper that let you play around with possible designs. A couple of days of head scratching while I tweaked the code and voila! LINK REMOVED BECAUSE ITS FAR TOO COOL AND I WANT TO DEVELOP IT FURTHER WITH CapnG I hope this is helpful to some f you (it's kinda fun just to fool around with anyway). I also hope I'm not stepping on anybody's toes... ![]() |

that's pretty neat, though I could use some rotate feature. Otherwise, I can't rotate the objects into place. Perhaps put some buttons for rotate, delete on the current object. Or make it a right-click context menu. Or both... Janx |

It rotates the pieces by holding down either control or alt key when you click.... Nice work, Any chance we'll see verions of this for other sets? Chunky Dungeons and CWU come to mind..... |

[baldfacedlie]It's a good thing that I never] over react myself[/baldfacedlie] The Auld Grump - stupid Groundhog Day joke - So we pulled the little rascal out of his burrow, and showed him his shadow. Well, first he looked kind of puzzled, then he started jumping up and down, spun around three times, then he just exploded! Since then we have had an earthquake, three tornadoes, and I don't mind telling you that now we're really worried! |
