I'm in the same boat. In theory I really really love TerrainLinx, but it's one hell of a project to do any set. Meanwhile I can do a store from scratch for the older formats in a day, much less build one of them. TerrainLinx, perhaps, is just a little too much on the 'do it yourself' side, particularly for the floors and anchors. |

I think that is why some of us love it more than others...I for one love the process of creating my terrain from scratch, even if it takes a lot of effort. It is my down time so I find solace in the journey. Of course I want tons to pick from when I play, but I enjoy creating the "building blocks" just the same. Of course, if there was a Lego forge out there, I would probably like that as well. |
