In the past there's been interest in getting dwarven mines... If caves came first, it'd be cool to see some overlap in that and adding rails for mines, then on top of that let the kitbashers combine the LHotDK with the mines. If there could be some overlap in work making mines suitable for DeadFall, and those for fantasy mines, then great!

I think the Airship is slightly more versatile, in that it could be, if flexibly designed, combined in any retrofuture, Cthulhu, pulp and even Western setting. So it would tie in with the Necroblock and Egyptian proposals for a start, not to mention practically every other range already out there. It also sounds as though it would be pretty cool to build (after I have a few more builds under my belt).

It gets my vote over the Necroblock Lockdown as I'm not too sure about "war torn." I'd love more options to buld a cityscape in the Necroblock style, without having most of it blown up. Well, it will do while I dream of a Metropolis cityscape

I will say that I'd buy the Airship, the Egyptian setting and the Necroblock one. The others, while undoubtedly nice (especially the castle), just don't fit my current gaming group so well.

To few uses for a Steam punk Air ship but I will be interested in seeing it. For me it was TLinks Castle or Mines.
Both were really close but I went Castle.

I haven't gamed in years. So as a modeler I want more show piece items. Something I can hang on the wall and enjoy every day. Especially something so impressive that everyone who visits is shocked to find that its paper.

TLX is a great product. But I literally already have a chest high pile of boxes filled with it. I just have no enthusiasm to crank out another couple hundred pieces.

Swiftscenics doesn't interest me. As a modeler I want interiors.

TLX Castle set is a must. Just having city walls to fool with would be great. My second choice would have to go to the new cavern system.(especially with transitions from the sewers.)

Also, an airship is a project that can be finished, much like the Maiden. While terrain has it's place, having something that I can complete and display is the pinnacle of the hobby (in my opinion, of course).

I voted for caveworks in the end but it was not an easy choice.

I haven't actually bought anything yet, I'm still in the lurking/drooling category since I don't have much time outside work and kids. As such I don't want to vote, but I will at least give my opinions. My number one want is something not on the list, and that would be a TLX reboot of Mars Station. Infact...as soon as I can scare up the gift card I got for christmas I may have to buy the original even since a reboot doesn't seem likely.

From the list, I would probably go with Necroblock: Lockdown because I'm more into SciFi at the moment, and could use a war torn look. Standard Necroblock the SwiftScenics aspect of Necroblock is limiting for the smaller scale skirmish stuff I prefer because of the lack of interiors. I'm assuming you have to have an interior if part of the building is blown out. I'm curious, would the Lockdown be TLX or SwiftScenics?

As others have said, these all look like great sets, and if I were in need of fantasy terrain as well this would be a much harder choice. Deadlands seems like it will be a great set and I will definitely keep my eyes on it.



Well, I plan on (eventually) collecting Necrons for 40k so there are definite possibilities there depending on how well I could retexture it, probably using necro block.

The Iron Thunderhead - Should be glad to play Warmachine on this terrain. Same with all Deadfall series, so western style mines be good.

Also, Black Citadel should be nice addition to the fantasy/steampunk terrain range.

I voted for the Airship for several reasons. The biggest being that your 'flagship' Denny, has always been the Maiden. It is an extremely impressive build and dominates a table when it comes out. I wish I could write in 'More Ships in general'. There have been many times that my character was on a ship and I wished you had made one that matched the design.

I've been playing a lot of steam-y adventures and air-ship adventures, and having the airship would have been extremely useful.

My second vote would be to the caves/mines. Then the castle.

Caves! We have plenty of stuff that can make above ground structures and environments, but there's a real lack of below ground!

I voted for the airship, because there is one out there already from *someone else* that really isn't that great. It was a tough call between that and Egypt (also being done by a different *someone else* already with less-than-stellar-execution.) None of the new projects is really my speed... I would like to see some fantasy SwiftScenics. A lot of fantasy SwiftScenics. I know TLX is awesome and all, but it takes a long time for me to reconvert them to "simple box structure" format in PhotoShop lol!

I chose the egyptians set because i play alot of warhammer 40k, specifically battle for maccragge, and my army is desert themed. I was thinking of combining the desert terrain with some other sets to create desert fortresses, cities and etc. My second vote would be either the steampunk ship or the caves.

I'd love all the others, (especially the airship), but for actual "I will build this 'cos we'll play with it", Caveworks TLX will win hands down.

Can I add a wish though. What I'd love is SMALL sets of TLX (almost to the kitbash level), such as a desert set (some tiles, a few rocks in the Hinterlands Cliffs style & maybe a few cacti) or a snow set (the outside of HotDK maybe), or for Mayhem maybe a American Wooden House, or a British Town House.

as a ork player of warhammer40k and the related roleplay settings im voting for the steampunk-airship because i imagine this is the thing closest to what i wish you would do in future.
ive been watching your store for the last two years and im really fascinated by your designs. i played with the thought of buying a set of the titan-designs for warhammer but again and again i think the atmosphere doesnt fit.
My absolute favourite would be a future-style TerralinX Design of course!! im thinking of to start a new game system just to use that awesome malifaux setting!!
also i know of many wh40k gamers who are searching for well designed, MODULAR building pieces as the GW-Buildings arent modular and way to expensive.

I was torn between artistic and pragmatic desires; I'd love to build a big 'ol airship, but I'd rather have an expansion for Necroblock-it'll get a lot more use. So practicality won out and I voted for expansion.

The Airship was my first choice. A) Flying ship - and a singular project ... I've *finally* started my Maiden ... yes I'm taking pictures and will submit when finished ... breaking down to buy a whole package of transparencies now that I HAVE to.

But the Caveworks Ultimate was an extremely close second. I have to wonder if the Caveworks will be done along the lines of Castleworks Ultimate (which I have, but haven't gotten around to designing my build, yet).

The Egyptian set is of almost equal interest to the first two - but we do have the re-release of Christopher Roe's Shahad Ziggurat which has an Egyptian-type flavor - and which begs for adaptation and kitbashing for other pyramid structures. (Yeah, that was my review.)

I'm just not ready for another TLX set, castle or otherwise, but I'd be glad to see it out there ( to be built surrounded by either/both Himmerveil cityscapes and/or Hinterland wilds terrain).

It seems Team Unger is going gangbusters with support for the Deadfall Western theme so I wasn't too worried about not choosing the Mines for that - but I'd want that eventually, also. I agree the adaptations for other scenario themes are significant. (Yeah TRAINS! for Deadfall)

The Necroblock addition just wasn't a consideration for me at all.

I love all the options. Difficult decission. My vote goes for Egyptian set.

This has been a very hard choice. A lot of them sound really cool, and I'd like to see all of them be produced. I ultimately voted for The Black Citadel, but I decided to weigh in on all of them. I figure feedback is appreciated, even from a newbie who bought into several sets this last christmas sale and hasn't had much time to build them since.

The Iron Thunderhead - This one sounds really cool. So cool, in fact, I might buy it even though I'm not sure what I'd do with it. Unfortunately, without any Steampunk tabletops to my name I'm not sure if I'd use it, but I do feel it should be high on your list.

Deadfall: Old Grumpies Mines - With how many Deadfall items are already on the books, I think this one can wait. It's cool that you guys are expanding into Western themes, but I'm more of a fantasy person, and I think 4 sets is a good start.

The Black Citadel - I chose this one because I'd love to see a castle set that's made for TLX. I hesitate to to buy into any of the old sets, even Castleworks, because I'd much rather have a TLX compatible one. The Black Citadel sounds right up that ally, and might have some very interesting designs to it as well.

Pharaohs Descent - I'd go for this one, this is a another set that sounds very unique and with lots of uses in any desert themed fantasy. Granted, I think it might not be a set I'd get the most use out of, but the novelty alone would make up for it.

Necroblock Lockdown - I don't play with Necroblock, so I'm not terribly interested in this.

Caveworks Ultimate - When you say "new modular cave system", you scare me. You make it sound like a standalone like Castleworks or Maiden rather than a TLX build. If it is TLX compatible, this might be a cool addition to the sets you currently have. I worry about it being an aesthetically less interesting set, though, but I trust anything you put the word Ultimate on to be fairly large.

I voted for Necroblock Lockdown, as I decided to go with my immediate impulse.

This is because I am primarily thinking about Wargaming at the moment and making more terrain and it seems to fit the niche I am thinking about building. (assuming relative quick Build, Stand alone, ungridded terrain).

I do like the bigger projects, and have the Dragon Slayer in the wall to prove it, so the Airship does sound like a really exciting possibility.

But as always I am interested in pretty much any possibility

Some good choices there, but I chose the expansion to Necroblock because I mostly play futuristic tabletop wargames, rather then RPGs.

That is what the Necroblock SwiftScenic lines is built for. Build quick, store mostly flat, and is very portable while still being strong enough to hold up a metal hive tyrant.

thought occurs to me, are there any plans even on the back burner for more forge products? I have all of the ones that are out already, (though admittedly I havent made them yet)

I've gone for the airship, as I Love all that Victorian steampunk setup, but the castle was a very very very close call.......alas, only had one choice, so the airship won it.

One thing I would have liked to to see and is not on the list, is a TLX or swiftscenics remake (or totally new build) of the Cathedral, which I think would be superb. Any plans for that?

Just thought, could this be one of the mystery new Terraclip? ........Hmmmmmmmm......
