Are there any news? it still has only one * as development status and no sneak peeks or info. There are problems or u had a sudden idea wich could improve tcp as a whole (curved walls, angled slopes, rotating clips)? I'm really looking forward to it!^^ |

The 4th set is well into production. We have a bit more work to do before we can announce anything officially. Wish I could give a clearer answer here but I can say its coming along nicely and I'm sure everyone will be very happy |

@DeltaIce: I'm only 20 years behind you friend - and I still go out for weekends in the woods to do LARP! ("Live Action Role Playing" for any who possibly might not be familiar with the term - with full costume and boffer weapons). I consider it as being "1 - 1" scale [Can you imagine the TCP build set for that?!] |

@Talae: Pretty as they may be, unfortunately the WWG 1-1 props would not hold up. Our NERO group (NorthEast Roleplaying Organization) rules system calls for the weapons constructed of PVC pipe covered in foam insulation all wrapped-up in duct tape. The shields are plywood or pink house-slab insulation edged with the foam and again covered in duct tape. Poor little foamcore constructs don't stand a chance of surviving the first battle contact, let alone a full weekend of conflict. |

What would we do without duct tape. Does anyone go along and video the game? That would be really neat. |

On the whole, no - though we did record a couple little bits several years ago - one was an amphibious asault (the good guys using row boats as physical representations of sailing ships) while the defenders used rock catapults against us (represented by water balloons - yeah it was the heighth of summer). That flick was hysterical with our players' total lack of nautical ways. --- Apologies to all for hijacking the thread! --- Now back to your regularly scheduled WWG Product Discussion... |
