Single Story stacking sounds great. I am going to guess that means the option to stack on single stories to make a 4,5,6,.... story apartment complex/slum

Yeah, there's a really smart format option Matt came up with which allows for a lot of flexibility. There's also some great signage and door options.

Speaking of Matt, for those not in the loop, he's been MIA for the past few weeks due to a complete computer meltdown. Should be resolved soonish though and we're working at getting these releases ready for him for December.

Looks great and hope that Matt gets things fixed up on the computer front soon. Tech issues can be worrisome.

Only if we can get the new shells in a Necro skin ( the dice tower is a nice idea though).

Those look sweet. Is that five styles in this pack alone or are there five releases planned?

Would have to leave them balconies off. They would be ok sometimes, but most of the older rundown sections of cities don't have them faincy balconies for cocktail parties hanging on the sides of the buildings, just some convenient fire escapes for thieves and getaways.

I'm just not sure how I feel about this 'Downtown' set. The remake just doesn't ... what ... so many things ... tired of the bleak textures. not the five buildings I expected, no real variation except for singage, the same squared pancake building ... I can change all of that but ... enough. Maybe there is more to this set I have not seen. Is there?

We're only seeing one style here, which is the "Greystone" texture. There are four more: Beige Brick, Office, Skyscraper & Stucco. I'd expect those other texture styles to look quite different from the pictures shown so far given their names...

Matt - will there be additional "toppers" for the buildings? Different vent types? Maybe roof stairwell access? I can't wait to see a build-out with the different available themes. I'm wondering if some variety in 3d details would help make the skyline more interesting.

There are 5 separate releases. We're only showing the Greystone variation at the moment. Each is priced VERY affordably.



Yeah as Heckbringer points out this is just one building style of five (but as you can see in the promo, you can build it to various heights). Signage is the same across all 5 sets and you can pull them off and on as needed. Granted, its the same "block style" building format for all 5 sets but that's what you typically see in most cities and that's kinda the point (plus it helps maintain the flat breakdown format of the original SwiftScenics design).

The one thing we all felt Mayhem was missing was an option to create a metric ton of "filler" buildings VERY quickly. This series of Swiftscenics reboots gives gamers the option to fill a table in no time flat.

I'm not usually interested in modern-day stuff, but these pics just scream Deus Ex at me...

I was actually contemplating how it would look on Streets of Titan, maybe with some Necroblock mixed in.

I understand your reasoning, Denny. I do like the Swiftscenic line and I'm sure it will be expanded as time goes by. I'm just an impatient sort.

Ahhh... back at last!

In answer to your question (sorta) each building has it's own unique rooftop, so that'll be five more roofs in the SwiftScenics range you can mix'n'match! Although there are no 3D details as such, however you might want to look into Mayhem Street Props as Denny suggested.

I am estatic about each building having a different roof Also, happy about each being in different textures. Sorry about complaining before having all the facts. I feel terrible about that , truly
