I've been quietly working away at the next chapter in WorldWorks ever expanding line of model sets. "CityWorks: UrbanMayhem" will follow a similar development cycle as "CityWorks: The Streets of Himmelveil" in that we will be releasing elements of these cities district by district, street by street and building by building.

"CityWorks: UrbanMayhem" will cover a vast cityscape and will be generic enough to fulfill everything from hardcore street warfare, zombie hunting, detective case hunts to near future wastelands. All with the extreme detail and quality WorldWorks has become known for.

As hard as it might be to believe the first installment of UrbanMayhem is closer to release than you might think. Because we are creating smaller sets in a more modular fashion the length of time between releases will shorten in some cases dramatically. Keep your eyes on the "Extended Project Development" section of the homepage (scroll down) for news, updates and progress on this an other model sets.

(Side Note: We have an additional designer working with us on Himmelveil...in case you were worried about us stretching things thin. More on that later )

This is another set i am intersted in, a Modern, near modern, to even future city streets and the like.

From the desrciption it sounds like modern campaings and near future post apoc people will be happy, which is very good, any chance of getting some future stuff to, or very slick building that could work Sci-fi as well.

I'm thinking parts of Fantasy line could work, and if there are enough things between the two i seperate Sci-fi could get done between them, maybe as a pack, and not have a specific line of Sci-fi citites.

I just wanna put my vote in for Urban Mayhem to include some 1.5" elements or conversion peices. My heroclix games would benefit greatly from the WW touch!

I am really excited about this one, almost more so than the others(Though my excitment about the upcoming Himmelveil is at least equal, if not moreso!). Though I still build a lot of buildings from balsa, foamcore, etc... I have a hard time keeping myself from getting into very ambitious projects that end up taking a really, really long time to finish. The end results look great, but I'm usually terrified to move them from place to place, and because of the time involved, I don't have anywhere near as many as I like.

This is the reason I love your products so much. They are wonderfully designed, and as such, I use them side by side with my rediculously complex objects, and they look great! Not only that, I don't mind moving them, since if I happen to do something stupid and squish one, I can make a replacement in no time at all. Also, such as with kits like ArenaWorks, I can make things that I normally wouldn't attempt any other way purely due to the amount of time involved(Really loved that set!!!). Same goes for CWU. I have a HUGE castle I've been making out of foamcore that I've been working on for quite some time. To be honest, had CWU come out before I started it, I probably never would have even bothered with it. That set is simply absolutely fantastic. Actually, all the sets I've bought are fantastic!

I am hoping this will work well with the up coming release of Mongoose's Gangs of Mega City-One. I have yet to find good terrain for the Judge Dredd setting.

What are the expected turnaround times on the new Micro Sets? Roughly?

1/2 time as a normal full set?
