| Post subject: | Streets of Mayhem layout |
This is the layout that I am going with (for now). Half of the PaperLinx tiles are done, most of the rest are glued to foamcore and I just printed out the rest. So far, I have only cut myself once (I lopped off the tip of my right index finger).  Some billboards and one pedestrian overpass are also done. Streets of Mayhem sure is a lot less fiddly than the Firstlight.

Nice!  Just looking at what you've made gives me some great ideas for layout possibilities. After showing some of my fellow gamers the Urban Mayhem pics, we're going to start another Cyberpunk campaign just so we can use the cool terrain. I love huge battles with gangs and lawenforcement.

I've done something similar in photoshop. We must have the same dining room table...... 35x56.... Tho my layout skips rail for now, just intersections, streets, and parking lots.(With spaces for buildings) [Hey Denny, I could REALLY use a 7x7 tile with JUST sidewalk texture. Everything I've photoshopped just doesn't look right]. I'm about halfway through making the tiles now....But had a thought last night.... A number of sign shops now do wide format printing, 41xas long as you like. I looked into pricing, about $109.00 for a 35x59 layout printed onto phototype stock, resistant to spills etc.... $136.00 for the same layout on vinyl, with grommets in each corner (not that we'd need grommets, its just part of the pricing. could likely ge a few $$ knocked off.)... Just a thought |

Welcome to Urban Mayhem, where there is plenty of free parking! Some buildings will definitely flesh it out, perhaps this are was recently burned out? The Auld Grump |
