All hail CapnG for tweaking his WorldWorks ModelPlanner for use with UM:Streets of Mayhem. http://www.worldworksgames.com/urbanmayhemsom.html (Left hand side below buy area) Behold the UM Model Planner! Slightly modified from it's predecessor, the new features are: - Separate prop and base layers and menus - 45 degree rotation increments for some props - Adjust controls for Linux users Users are advised to leave the top left corner blank until finished so they can more easily rotate and flip props to their liking. THANK YOU CAPNG! |

To Anconeus: (I learned this when the Firslt Light planner was released) How to download the planner: Start the model planner in Internet Explorer, then look in your Temporary Internet Files folder for flmodelplanner.swf or UM-modelplanner.swf, whichever one you opened. It will probably be the last file in a list. Copy it to another folder (pick one you can find easily). You should then be able to use it offline just by clicking on it. You need to move a copy out of the Temporary Internet Files folder because it will disappear when your cache is cleared. You may need to download a shockwave plugin to run the program. I never have figured out where Firefox puts the file, so I'm forced to use Internet Exploder just to get the file. |

Post subject: | Downloading the Planner |
Downloading the Planner Here is a slightly easier way to download this onto your machine. Here is the direct link: http://www.worldworksgames.com/NewFiles ... lanner.swf Right click on that link and choose 'Save Target As' (or whatever Firefox's version of that is). That should let you download it onto your machine into whatever folder that you want. |

And for those of you who want to know how to get the direct link, its actually pretty simple. After you have opened the planner in its sized window, you can open a new window by hitting Control-N (at least in IE, although I suspect most other browsers do something similar). That will pop up a full window, with address bar and all. You can then get the address of the flash item from the address bar. |
