i play d and d as well as warhammer and i dont have the time to make my own houses and stuff anymore so i found this site in dragon magazine.everything looks great but i wanted to here from the users of this product what would be the best thing to buy???also is this whole company canadian??does it require alot of time to build???does it travel well or store easy??it looks totally cool...thanks

Welcome aboard Sunsea!!

1) Best thing to buy? Depends on what you like. I am a HUGE fan of Villageworks for your standard medieval village. Castleworks Ultimate is great for castles (duh). Pubs and Inns is a great interior set. Chunky Dungeon is a great dungeon set. I also like Skull Cove for the cliffs and walls.

2) Build time? Not alot really, depends on what you decide to build. Newer sets (anything with Ultimate in the title) tend to have more options and take longer but are worth it.

3) Travel & Storage? They travel and store quite well when packaged well. Don't expect to be able to toss them in a box and have them look as good as they did when you built them. I've used some of the same pieces for well over a year and they have held up through several conventions and gaming sessions.

They do look cool don't they? Also, check out the users Reviews section of the forums (near the bottom of the list) for what other users have posted about WWG magnficent products!!!

Hi and welcome to the group, I hope I can be helpful with your selection here at WWG. First and foremost there is no wrong choice, meaning all of WWG products will be faithful to you and your gaming so long as you follow to guidelines set out by the MasterCrafter Denny.

VillageWorks is right up your alley for WHF stuff.
CastleWorks:Ultimate will do above and beyond for both D&D and WHF. Add to this SeigeWorks and you have the best of all worlds.
Look at GothicRealms and Castles&Keeps for internal CastleBashing.
While Caveworks and GothicRealms do dungeon crawling to a tee.
Pubs&Inns is very needed to out fit the local watering hole, also has cool props that can be used in any of the other sets.

These are a very quick and simple overview of some of the stuff WWG has to offer you. I have all the set that have been mentioned and the coolest thing is that once you have a couple of sets the amount of props that you have on hand to dress a project is truly amazing!

I would grab VillageWorks first with CW:U as a close second. Look at ChunkyDungeons as well for some very sexy DungeonBashing - I do not own it yet so I didn't list it with the others - but it is very very nice indeed.
