Post subject:  Free Himmelveil Canals - but no anchors?
I was poking around in my account a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised to find Himmelveil Canals in the My Freebies section. I'm not sure why it is there but I grabbed it immediately. It all looks good but there are no anchors included, which I find a bit strange as the posts are there. The floor tiles don't have spots marked out for anchors either.

So does this set not have anchors? Are anchors purposely not included in a freebie edition? Is there other stuff missing?

Anyway, it might be worthwhile for anyone who doesn't already own Canals to check in their freebies. Not sure if mine was a fluke, mistake, or the way things are supposed to be, but I was happy to get the set. :) Especially after the disappointment of no Christmas/New Years sale. :-w

Thanks for any info anyone has on the anchors issue.

Interesting. I definitely do not have that in my freebies, so I cannot confirm. I do own all of their products, however. It seems there is a fluke of some kind.

Interesting that it showed up in your freebies. I have not heard of such a thing happening before.

As for the anchors, I have never been left wanting of anchors in the Canals set. They just aren't as useful on the waterfront apparently. This is why there are no anchors in the set. That being said, there is a kitbash that offers them here: http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/in ... roduct=223

I do recall it being given away. It was a 24 or 48 hour promotion IIRC. It was just listed that a TLX set would be given away on "x date".

Honestly never looked close enough to see if it had anchors or not.

Now that you say that I vaguely recall that I grabbed it while it was free for a little bit. I lost everything I had in a hard drive crash and had totally forgotten about this, and it doesn't show up under my owned sets, just the freebies.

Thanks also for the link to the kitbash. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be included for free. I suppose I should consider it a small price to pay for the whole set. I'll wait until I actually need them at some point.

Himmelveil canals itself has no anchors. That's why I created a Kitbash for it. check your kitbashes. Everyone needs a bridge to go over their water, right!
