As a matter of fact I bet this post is removed or I am told how evil I am for depriving his children their bread and salt. But oh well, I think the video game thing is stupid, And unless he has a copyright on 3D environments then I am willing to guess that every game designer will be unwilling to pay him for a wall with ivy on it. I think he saw a check with more than he is used to, And jumped at it. You know what they say about easy money, And all your eggs. Now all he has done is ostracize his dedicated fan base (or else we would not care), And I and you can get what we need for free. Be fore I purchased 2 sets a month, I would not have downloaded one from a torrent site because I felt if they cared enough to put that much work into it, Then the least I could do was honor it. Now its open source as far as I am concerned, Abandoned property so to speak. They should have let us buy a copy of everything (like a membership) and open the site up so we can post our stuff and turn it into a community share site. I would not buy this site for a nickel, All the loyal are so pissed and most have moved on. I wish Ebbles would open his site back. This is not the only paper terrain, It was some of the nicest, But for all his talk about art and family and love of design, It seems he is a sell out after all. So I reiterate take the money away, As nice as the maiden is, This is a shame. I still check once a month hoping to see something new. But what can you do.
Thanks again, I have most of those I bought years ago or here, But the first sets, That is what I was getting at they should do here, If he is moving on, Give us the fans the sets we need for free for our years of faithfulness, But allow us to 'pay' if we feel the need. I have Always liked the Ebbles better though.
