OldschoolDM. I'm not really sure what you're saying in the above post to be completely honest. You're either sharing derivative works offsite or you're not. And while I understand the frustration in our inability to continue Kitbash curation that does not mean we've given carte blanche to set owners to share works off site. All that we're asking is that you consider the content creators and how sharing might influence them. Piracy and sharing is one of the primary reasons this site is in ghost-ship status right now. It's why I had to seek an alternate career choice. If I've misunderstood my apologies. I don't really understand what you were getting at in the above. |

I wish I had time for that Oldschool but thats not my life right now. The WWG Kitbash system was designed to allow sharing of derivative works with WWG model set owners only. Anything beyond that is against our TOS. |

Logging into WWG is like entering a time machine. I have spent MANY hours on this site. There are wonderful resources here and I would hate to see them go away. |

No doubt Talae. No plans on this end to shut it down. We accumulated such a massive archive of resources for gamers in so many categories, for more than a decade, that there's literally no reason to shut it down. The only thing that could really usurp what this place is, is the 3-D printing revolution but even that is going to take time to really make economical sense to people (and ease of use issues). Anyway, like I said before the site will be here for people for some time to come. |

(more in sorrow than in anger) Well, no, Denny, there isn't much of a community. There's old postings, but the 3 month hiatus killed off much of the spirit and interest, even among the hardcore. 3 months of no site, after many months of no WWG (except a few volunteer moderators, blessing be on them) killed off the community. As far as anyone outside Cloudhead could tell, you were NEVER going to support the community again, which was a buzz-kill. Thanks while it lasted, but this new announcement is just dirt rattling on the coffin. Alexio not even bitter, I am disappoint |

Yeah, the knowledge and tips on the forums here are still invaluable to many of us, so we'd love to see it stick around as long as reasonably possible. Denny, when there are issues with the store or forums, like happened yesterday, what is the best way for us to bring it to your attention? I had tried emailing Chris Roe at his Ebbles email address and that's sometimes worked, but that doesn't seem like the ideal route. I've tried sending a message to the Cloudhead Games FB page, but whoever monitors that wasn't familiar with WWG, so they were confused by that. Is there another email address we should use or another route we should take to make you aware of the site being down? |

While i appreciate and value the kitbashing, its not a real source for new full sets. While you have covered many (and i mean MANY) styles and genres, there is still an infinite amount of possibilites out there for new sets and sets that can be rejuvinated. Why don't you set up a way (besides just kitbashing cause this would not be a kitbash so much) similar to kitbashes, but for full sets instead, theres even a full set (though just a tlx conversion) of atlantis on the kitbash section. I don't think it would be too hard to do as the system for submitting kitbashes could be used here as well, however for full sets instead, and even have features on the website catalog, i believe this would help inspire more people to create more conent, and also regenerate interest and increase income from the site as old sets from 3,4,5+ years ago are not so good for advertisements as it makes the site appear abandoned and ghost-ship like, but new sets (even just user created) featured on the main page would just give me (and many others i believe) a sigh of relief as the site doesnt appear as run down, and would seem more trustworthy to spend ones money |

@Drazel - Welcome to the [back up again at last] site (though I know you had posted concerning the Shellendrak Manor Kitbash last spring before things took a tumble...). Unfortunately, Denny & Co. currently have their attention averted to other projects. They have not felt they have the time to work on any NEW sets - so the Kitbashing by the avid afficionados seem to be the only source of "new material". I suppose if someone were able to make a high enough quality of design - and submit it through the proper channels, Denny *might* find the time to review it and make it available. Currently, there does not seem to be much chance of that, but then our Forum members do have their own lives outside the WWG realm for sure, and I consider the rest of us lucky that so much has been generated and is available. mproteau and Jaynz have been two of our outstanding kibash contributors (there are others whom I do not intend to slight through omission!), and they have for the most part also turned their attention to other facets of paper modeling on other sites. (I won't mention those sites outright - PM me if you want to know more.) I do have one Kitbash under my belt - and several others in various stages of completion/conception - but my personal time for dedicated design work is also hard to come by, mostly just due to sheer exhaustion from my paying job. I hope this helps put things in perspective regarding the situation of lack of new content... |

Been a long time since I posted, let alone visited. My son and I rode our bicycles across America from over the summer. So was out of pocket for a few months. I guess I missed the majority of the "fun" with the site being down and got to hear about the drama via Facebook. Now there are Three Zero Day vulnerabilities that were revealed yesterday. What does WWG's do to keep that type of stuff at bay? I'd hate for the site to go down yet again due to something stupid like that. I now do computer security/forensics where I work as one of my responsibilities, but with WWG geing a small shop, what, if anything, is being done to try to keep the criminals away. And I guess I've checked in without logging in to see if anything had changed. It's too bad that the market didn't allow for the designers to be able to profit properly from their works. Still believe that WWG had the best talent in the industry though. I'd reallly hate to see it go away for ever. Cheers, CCotD |

Denny, thank you for the heads up. I just rediscovered wwg ( I have chunky dungeons) and when I got back into gaming after a loong hiatus found my way back. I am currently working on a post apocalyptic world that is a weirdly "wild wasteland". thank you |

I just went to the store to try to make a purchase and was unable to stay logged in. Every time I clicked on a link to go to another page it sent me to the log in page. I log in again, click on a link, get sent to the log in page, etc., etc., etc. ad nauseum.  Not a very good situation for an outfit that needs an income stream.

Still getting SQL error when trying to read my unread message, Still can't download Firstlight,celestus pravatus,and the first light standees. Still no response from customer service about this. the No contact with customer service speak volumes to me. I Have been emailing Since Sunday the 8th and the "contact customer service" link does not work. this really bums me out because I have big dreams for my project Is World Works closing or what?

I can't seem to login to the website. It let me buy a new set, but after going to paypal, when I went back to the World Works site I had been logged out and cant seem to log back in. Trying to reset my password also fails. Is any one out there to help? |
