Ok I was doing some sufing and came across this: This product is linked to the new Mont Cook book call Iron Lore, Malhavoc’s newest variant player’s handbook. Quote time: What if the world’s most popular fantasy roleplaying game took place in a newly born world, one in which magic was an unstable, dangerous force that few could control? Steel and pure courage replace magical talismans and spells. Daring action and clever tactics win battles. IT IS NOT THE SWORD, BUT THE ARM THAT WIELDS IT. The characters in Iron Lore must rely on their skill and mastery to defeat their enemies. They cannot fall back upon typical fantasy gaming ricks—magic items are dangerous and scarce, while spells rarely have the effects a caster intends. To support this new style of play, Iron Lore features a number of modifications and additions to the rules you already know how to use. These expansions are carefully built for portability and adaptability. They work within the framework of the 3rd Edition (revised) of the world’s most popular roleplaying game. The changes they introduce are easy to understand, yet they have a profound effect on the feel of the game. Best of all, you can pick and choose the new rules you like and add them to your own fantasy campaigns. Iron Lore is more than a new handbook of rules. It also serves as a selection of modifications that you can add to your game like a kick of hot sauce. Here endth the quote. "So what," I hear you saw and "Whats it got to do with WWG", you cry. Well this product coming out in early next year: Iron Lore Battle Box From Fiery Dragon Productions A must-have accessory for any Iron Lore gaming table, the Battle Box is a metal case containing handy reference cards, combat-style charts, maneuver bonus tokens, full-color cardstock hero counters, and more! FDP4024 • 36 pages • ISBN 1-894693-90-0 • $21.95 MSRP Youe see that red bit? Denny had mentioned that he was doing work for White Wolf and that the new mini-project that is being release with in the next WWG month is based upon that work. It has also been talked about on the fourm Denny had stated. Denny Quote: I'll be designing the set along side some contracted work in progress for WhiteWolf. All that I can say regarding this release is that it is fantasy themed, small & inexpensive. This will be WorldWorks first "Encounter" set. Make of that what you will but it's something that was requested ages ago and it's day has come. End Denny quote. So what do you think? That these Cardstock hero counters might be what WWG has been doing for White Wolf? Lord Abaddon of Wormwood BTW Yes I am bored and wanting the next WWG release lol |

Fiery Dragon has been doing color character counters since they opened their doors. Sorry, but that is almost certainly not it. (Nor is this Fiery Dragon's first Battle Box.) The Auld Grump |
