I just had an incredible idea. Why not have the upcoming Himmelveil Set include "chunky" village houses? You know, with 3D walls instead of flat walls. We've got such walls in other products, now it's time to adapt them into a VillageWorks style house for Himmelveil. What do you guys think? |

It would be A. Really nifty and B. A pain in the butt to build. Some of each type would be best methinks. The Auld Grump, sugar level dropping, attention wanderingzzzzz... |

I mentioned this on another thread, but I've been experimenting with foam material from Woodland Scenics to create 3D dungeon walls. The nice thing about using foam is I can print the models on plain paper instead of cardstock. The problem with the foam is it takes longer to complete each model. But hey, the look really nice! I'll get some pictures up when I get time to work on it some more. To many projects and not enough time to do them all! I’ve created a page on my site to post funny quotes from my players. Visit to read them. |

For 3D walls to look at all realistic they would only be maybe 1/4 inch thick (depending on the material of course) and that would be a real *bleep* to build! ![]() I think the methods in CWU are a happy medium between verisimilitude* and ease of build. *Do I have to pay Grump for use of his word? Or use of this footnote? ![]() |
