Official: WorldWorks News Roundup I hate silence and it kills me when I don’t have time to update everyone on where things are going. Although my time is short, here are a few quick updates and news items… WhiteWolf/Arthaus Unfortunately I have to remain somewhat guarded on this topic until later in the month. What I can say is that this project for WhiteWolf is taking up the majority of my day to day activities. Big things are coming and there will be an entire website devoted to this product line. Grrr…gack…cough…the WhiteWolf crew is poking me with sharp sticks telling me to shut my gob. Better go… Adventure Development A big welcome to long time trusted and very talented friend Kevin Jordan. Kevin is our newest addition to the team and he is heading up the Module Development department. An amazing writer with a strong head for management, Kevin is pulling in all of our talents to create adventures that will exceed your expectations. With the talents of four writers including Bob Cooper, Rodney & Amanda Brazeau, Kevin Jordan and two graphic illustrators Matt Cuenca, Jeff Trudel currently working away on various projects, you should see some fantastic work coming your way in the near future. FirstLight Retrofit Delay after delay and the crowd slowly reveals the pitch forks hidden beneath their robes. Paul’s baby needed some tender loving care before it was truly ready to fly. We apologize for the delay but to maintain certain quality levels sometimes “ready” is only ready when it’s ready…or something like that. UrbanMayhem: Mayhem Armory Matt Lyon continues his diligent quest to knock your socks off with his first WorldWorks release. His modular building structures for Urban Mayhem promise to fulfill everyone’s gritty inner city needs. Looking great so far and moving along at a good clip. Himmelveil Our new model designer Peter Gifford is on tap and cranking out his first release for Himmelveil. Peter’s list of credits include promotional work for RealMyst and MystIII, 3D design on the computer adventure game The Omega Stone http://www.theomegastone.com and the official site for the rich fantasy world of Tékumel http://www.tekumel.com. He has a fantastic eye for detail and is a skilled well rounded artist. More goodies from Peter over the coming weeks. A majority of the WorldWorks crew will be slowly making their way into Himmelveil development over the next few months. We plan on collectively expanding this universe in a very dramatic fashion and satisfying all of your uber fantasy needs once and for all! Wish I could give you more but remember that silence in this case really is a reflection of just how frantic things are behind the scenes. Over the next few months WorldWorks will be making some very dramatic changes and I’m glad that you are all here to share in our little slice of gaming history. Talk to you soon! |

Aha! A name is now attached to the designer of Himmelveil! Groovy! The Auld Grump *EDIT* Aha, I had even seen his work on Tekumel! M.A.A.Barker's world is one of the most detailed fantasy settings ever - at one point you could buy language tapes from him... |

I see Denny has seen the light and hired an Australian. Good choice sir! Denney must have seen the success that Hollywood has had in employing talent from down under and thought to himself "Mmm... must get me some of that".
