1. If you loan someone your hobby knife then they will blunt the tip. 2. If you let someone use your UHU they will mash the tip. 3. No matter how often you tell people to cut out from the corners they will cut inwards, and screw it up. 4. No matter how often you tell yourself to cut out from the corners you will cut inwards, and screw it up. 5. You will forget to print something, then get to the point when you need it right now before noticing. 6. You will keep finding bits of Dungeon Works, no matter how long ago you thought that you had run out. 7a. You will run out of ink. 7b. You will run out of cardstock. 8. Now matter how big a stack o' preprinted cardstock you think that you have, there is not enough. Any others? The Auld Grump, listening to his printer chug, and seeing the light for 7a. blinking on and off... *EDIT* I got mugged by a Greek food festival and ended up eating the money that I brought for a new cartridge... 7c? |

23. Precision is payed for in blood!!! I have lost more blood due to focusing on making precise cuts with an X-acto knife than during my entire childhood and playing football and soccer combined. (This also includes "lighting fast reflexes" in catching an X-acto knife point first when it falls off the table while my brain is looking the other way.) (Needless to say, I don't work with power tools  )

I've never cut myself making cardstock models -- yet. And I almost never use an exacto. A snap off craft knife is preferrable to me, except for cutting foamcore. then I use an exacto |
