I've seen a few palmtree designs along the same lines, but this one is bay far the most elaborate. The idea of using leaves from a fake plant is genius. 
Heh, I did notice there's a small error in the tutorial though... step 7 shows the felt being rolled around the trunk from the bottom up. That'll leave ridges on the trunk which flare down. If you roll from the top down, they'll flare up, like a real palm tree... |
