As per our front page news item. We are in desperate need of talented illustrators. We've picked up some incredible writing talent with major publication credits and we require equally talented illustrators to work with them on various projects. Illustrator / Graphic Artist

WorldWorks module development department has recently expanded. We are now looking for additional illustrators and graphic artists to help develop key projects. All earnings are based upon a percentage of sales returns relevant to the creator’s project involvement. There is no cap on potential earnings and depending upon the popularity of a given product a designer could generate a consistent monthly income. All projects are subcontracted and require frequent communications via e-mail, phone and other virtual meeting tools. A successful applicant must have strong communication skills, must be highly motivated, self sufficient, reliable, good with criticism, able to meet deadlines, take direction, eager to share and brainstorm with other staff.

Multiple projects are currently under development which require graphic illustration and layout work. A successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

- 2 to 3 years post secondary education preferred. A focus on Graphic Illustration, Graphic Design, Illustration or Fine Arts.

- Ability to illustrate in a realistic fantasy style in a variety of mixed mediums (No Anime please)

- Must have a strong understanding of both male and female human anatomy with a focus on accurate proportions.

- Must have the ability to produce illustrations within a relatively quick turnover period (interior art timeframes scaled depending upon relative complexity).

- Ability to produce “painterly” cover art a plus.
Some work experience within the industry preferred.

Software

- A strong understanding of Adobe Photoshop required.

- A strong understanding of image optimization for print and Web required.

- Experience in Adobe Acrobat and Distiller software preferred.

- Layout experience in Quark, PageMaker or any other preprint layout tool a bonus.

Denny, I PM'd you about someone I've found who is interested and will be contacting you - he would be fantastic judging from what I've already seen and that ain't the half of it!

I was reading this aloud to my mother, and she commented that she knew someone who was looking for work in something similiar (they are in a job club together). She took a look at the site yesterday, and has shown a great interest in this idea. She was very excited at the prospect of working for a company like WW's, and meets all of the listed requirements.
