I generally go from a stand point of how big a structure I'm looking to build. If I only need a 40x40 room, then that's all I build for. The fortress prison that I built for one of my sessions was hugh! Was big enough to extend over the sides of a conference table! Course I also go with the thought, you can never have enough terrain! Now I just gotta figure out where to keep it! Skunk Check out my fantasy campaign, Wizard Quest, a world using Wizards of the Coast’s 3.5 DnD system by visiting . Grump: I like that plan. That seems the most flexible approach. How do you base up the rooms? Skunkape: Wish I had the room to do that! Aleph: thanks for the general advice! |

I just built a whole bunch of walls and stuff, but then, I'm compulsive about such things. ![]() One suggestion - instead of using paperclips on the Clip-It walls, go get black bobby pins from Target or Walmart or the grocery store or whatever. They are much easier to use, blend in better (especially with C&K) and do less damage to the cardstock on repeated use. |

Sorry all, as so often happens, Real Life (tm) caught up with me this week. I also had to finish a few Battletech figs for my on-going campaign. The delay has given me the opportunity to observe the Sworn Enemy of the cardstock modeler though: the dreaded Warpage! So, I'm considering moving to the matboard technique. I'm just wondering where I can find a reliable supply of good quality knife blades though. It's also damn near impossible to find UHU office pens in this dreary little country (England) without having to pay a fortune in delivery charges - 1.49 for three pens, 7.99 delivery! (or nearly $18 US). Grump, thanks for the reply. I'm wondering if that could be the answer to my warping problems as well. |
