We would have had this out to you guys sooner but my sick time put things back a bit. Luckily Paul continued his efforts through the storm and came up with another fantastic model set. We are back on track and the MarsStation release is reaching critical mass! Dang, I am glad I am at the fitting stage for FL, that is going to be so awesome for some more interior parts!!! And what a fantastic layout that will make for Rezolution. thanks! |

Oh yeah... Dang, that's purty! One of the first things that struck me was how good teh cliffs look. I've been begging for more natural shapes for ages, and this looks damn good! I would have loved some more angled sidewalls, but this is already a huge improvement! Question about the 20 different sized walls: is there a modular system to put these walls together and take them apart again? I noticed all (almost all?) building corners have this funny little pillar on the outside of the corner - doe sthat hide some sort of wall assembly mechanism? |

So... is there some wall assembly mechanism in those pillars? Or is everything just glued together permanently? The pillars and triangular fold look a tad ungainly. But hey, this is a different planet and a different century after all. Some things are just *supposed* to look slightly off!  And with a whole settlemnt like that, it just blends in as part of the martian architecture...

I'm glad I haven't finished the interiors of my FL/FL:R ship yet - some of those interior pieces are absolutely perfect. Now, for the set proper .... WOW. That looks frikkin cool. I'm glad I convinced my group to try the Firefly setting soon - those are going to make fantastic props for it. Heck, I'd build them just to see them, even if we never played. This looks like a fantastic set.
So, mmmmmmmm, when it is ready for general releasee? |

I believe that WorldWorks has stopped working with RPGNow. That's the only explanation I can think of as to why the last two releases aren't available there. Hopefully, Mars will make its appearance today as it is now 7 days from the last official post stating it would be out within a week. This is going to be such fun to build! |

Ooooooh. Anyone else read the BAT, look at the modular walls and think, "these would be great for starship exteriors, too"? Paul - this looks fantastic. Up there in supreme usability/flexibility like Skull Cove. |

Awesome! [picks up jaw] I was looking forward to this but now I can't wait! When, damn you!? When can I give you my hard-earned cash?!
This is gonna see a lot of use - Star Wars, Starship Troopers - the cliffs are just the thing I've been looking for for Battletech too. Marvellous - how do you pack so much versatility into one set? I'm intrigued by the hints about the structure construction technique though - forces the walls straight. |
